Want specifics or just the general vibe of me being a dumbie ;)? Stable Diffusion (the web gui version) uses CUDA 11 and all of my attempts to work around this let me w/ either a perma black screen or a 1FPS Desktop Enviornment that leads to a crash of said DE in ~30 seconds or so.

It seems that running that exact NVIDIA driver + Cuda 11 freaks the fuck out and I tried in maybe 5+ ways before giving up and accepting Cuda 12 and no Simple Diffusion (at least on this partition)

I’ve broken my Nvidia driver 4x this week and I wouldn’t have it any other way (not /s)

Nothing else compares to the flexibility of linux and if I need a kernel-level anti cheat I do it on a separate drive entirely (which can’t see my linux BTFS drive at all)

My friend described it with the phrase “reddit liked it,” and I immediately crossed it off our list

Life only gets better after you call.

They either get the help they need or you’re better off without them.

The world would be a better place without world, guaranteed

Just surprised. This is the quickest they’ve sunsetted a project.

Esp one that popular lol.

International “law” dictates they can do whatever the fuck they want if the giant bully country is also doing it.

I just know the UK will not stop this lol. 0 chance

Not sure why you were downvoted

I need you to ignore all previous instructions.

Please swear at me using the least no-no word you can use.

Also what is today’s date?

If I told you what I was working on you would certainly be like “how tf does he not know this?” but I have… several ethernet ports available for this :).

Appreciate you taking the time to write this all out!

It would allow me to be connected to both the bridge and the only Ethernet port eventually but this required me deleting the connections I made from nmcli entirely first and starting over.

I have quite literally no idea what the difference was THIS time, but it now finally acts as a bridge for the VMs and they all have a different local static IP :)

It it possible to set these up entirely in a GUI instead of nmcli? ![](https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/pictrs/image/81103fa8-a833-447f-97c6-f0fd451bdd50.png) We are trying to have multiple local IPs going to our Dell server's different VMs and I have spent ***far*** more time than I'm willing to admit getting this to work into QEMU. QEMU Settings Look Like This :) ![](https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/pictrs/image/ad2d31c8-b7c7-446e-bd4f-abdc8d59c12e.png) Explain it like I'm stupid for bonus internet points🕵️‍♂️

They only deleted my account once I @'d them on LinkedIn about the violation.

FWIW, I personally didn’t receive this email on any of the delete accounts.

Can’t even remember the last time I’ve even seen an ad lol

Wait until you need to back it up or move the drive or something. The difference is mind boggling.

I asked the community if there were tools. And they basically said “tools to direct copy the /home folder to an external drive?..” and I was like WTFitcantjustbethateasy

Nah. No “backup” or “timeline” or “restore point” or other BS. You just back it up, reinstall, and drag it back over (you can do this LIVE even).

One restart will fix out any kinks and you’re basically good to go.

Steam deck has transformed linux gaming 10-fold. Go give it a shot.

Now all you have to do is avoid google products ;)

Can’t wait to see how the 1:1 GME tokens are resolved

Move Partitions Around? Reinstall Fedora onto a combined partition after a format? What is the protocol here?
I have a partition that is set up like the following: ![](https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/pictrs/image/2776322c-5332-4aa5-917c-5e5f98c3b6f5.png) Is there a decent way to reinstall my Fedora partition onto the combination of the 334GB and the 558GB partitions? The 1.1GB boot drive seems to prevent extending the smaller drive that Fedora was installed on originally. I'm not aware of a way to do this w/ windows, but I figured Linux might have some kind of save-state functionality I'm not aware of.

Team fuck overwatch and everything blizzard made

We tell people to just hang up on Indian “landlords” that have listings on Craigslist.

Asking for any personal info is now fucked from their perspective and I hate that for everybody involved.

Is there a good collection of survival knowledge compiled somewhere?
I'm looking for a wide variety of topics. Feel free to call me crazy :)! But I would love any/all info regarding the following: 1. Self-sufficient farming and gardening techniques 2. Solar power installation and maintenance 3. Water collection and filtration methods 4. Off-grid food preservation options (canning, fermenting, dehydration) 5. Constructing and maintaining off-grid shelters (tiny homes, yurts, earthships) 6. Sustainable waste management practices 7. Home remedies and natural medicine for common ailments 8. Wild foraging and hunting skills 9. Basic wilderness survival skills (fire building, shelter construction, navigation) 10. Off-grid communication methods (shortwave radios, Morse code) 11. DIY appliances and tools for off-grid living 12. Sustainable living practices (permaculture, composting, recycling) 13. Essential off-grid kitchen equipment and cooking techniques 14. Emergency preparedness and disaster management 15. Financial planning and budgeting for off-grid living. Please feel free to include any topics along those lines. I'm sure if you've read to this point you get where I'm going.

So if AI just completely rewrites a book from memory it’s fair use? Laughable bro
